The Society of Crossed Words is for personal use. Play it, install it, recommend it to a trusted confidante. Please do not resell it or pass its content off as your own.

Content

All clues, lessons, text and artwork are original to The Society of Crossed Words. You are welcome to quote a clue or two when sharing or teaching, with a mention of where it came from.

No warranty

The app is provided as is, with care but without guarantees. We aim for every clue to be fair and every explanation to be correct; if you find one that is not, we would genuinely like to know.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for losses arising from use of the app. It is a puzzle a day; the stakes are pleasantly low.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
